Who we are

DentBooker is an online dental appointment platform helping clinics manage bookings and patients discover dentists. For any privacy-related question, contact us at dentbooker@gmail.com.

What data we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Email address
• Country (location of your clinic)
• Clinic name
• Clinic size (number of dentists)
• Timestamp of your consent

If you contact us through the website, we also store the name, email and message you send so we can reply.

Why we collect it

To notify you about DentBooker's launch, prioritize the markets we roll out next, and send relevant product updates about the waitlist and early access. Nothing else — we don't use your data for advertising or profiling.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data based on your explicit consent, given when you ticked the checkbox on the waitlist form. You can withdraw this consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from all future launch communications.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Third parties

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the waitlist:

• Resend — to deliver waitlist and transactional emails.
• Supabase — secure database and backend hosting (EU region).
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and DDoS protection for the website.

These providers act as data processors under written agreements. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared beyond what's necessary to operate the waitlist.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. If a provider processes data outside the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to safeguard the transfer.

Cookies

Our waitlist page does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We only use strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (e.g. security and session). No consent banner is shown because no optional cookies are set.

Security

We protect your data using encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, strict access controls, and row-level security on our database. Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure — if a breach affects your data, we'll notify you and the relevant authority within 72 hours, as required by GDPR.

Children

DentBooker is a tool for dental clinics and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as DentBooker evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email before the changes take effect.
